Cashback rules

Cashback is a loyalty credit Noques gives you on qualifying orders. It is free: you do not pay for it and it has no cash value. It can only be spent on Noques, with any vendor, and cannot be withdrawn, transferred to another account or exchanged for money.

Noques funds cashback. A vendor receives their full share of an order whether or not you paid part of it with cashback.

These rules form part of the terms of service. How the programme works in practice is on the cashback page.

• You earn 1% of the amount you actually pay on an order of at least R20, after any cashback you used on it.
• It is credited to your balance when you collect the order, not when you pay.
• Event tickets do not earn cashback.

• You can spend cashback once your balance reaches R5.
• It can pay for up to 50% of an order. The rest is paid by card.
• It can be used with any vendor on Noques.
• It cannot be used for event tickets.
• There is no fee to spend it and no minimum purchase beyond the above.

If an order you paid for partly with cashback is cancelled or refunded, the cashback you used comes back to your balance and the card payment is refunded to your card. See the refunds policy.

Cashback earned through orders that were not genuine, such as orders placed to earn cashback and then cancelled, or orders arranged with a vendor, may be removed. We will tell you why.

Cashback does not expire while your account is open. If you delete your account, any unspent cashback is lost, because it has no cash value.

Noques may change or end the programme. Before a change that reduces what you earn, restricts how you can spend your balance, or introduces an expiry, we will tell you in writing at least 20 business days in advance, and cashback you have already earned can be spent during that time on the existing rules.
